Ram Pothineni’s new film shoot begins

Ram Pothineni is gearing up for a fresh start with his upcoming film, tentatively titled RAPO22. Directed by P Mahesh Babu, the movie began shooting on Friday, following the release of an intriguing poster. The actor, who is coming off a string of box-office failures with The Warrior, Skanda and Double Ismart, appears ready to reinvent himself by exploring a new genre. Known for his action-packed roles, Ram is now venturing into something distinct and engaging.
The latest unveiled poster introduces his character, Sagar, with the tagline “Suparichithudu” (a known man), hinting at a role deeply rooted in emotion and nostalgia. The poster’s vibrant yet vintage vibe showcases Ram in a completely new avatar, creating anticipation among fans. The film stars Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Vivek-Mervin is composing the music. With this fresh approach, RAPO22 aims to mark an exciting new chapter in Ram Pothineni’s career.
