Ashok Galla is all set to release his second film, Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, directed by Arjun Jandhyala, hitting screens on November 22. The film is produced by Somineni Balakrishna. On Tuesday, the makers held a function to release the film’s trailer, attended by special guests Rana Daggubati and Sundeep Kishan, who showed their support for Ashok Galla.
An interesting aspect of the film is that Prashanth Varma, the director of Hanuman, provided the story. Ashok Galla undergoes a notable transformation for his role, with his commanding screen presence standing out. Manasa Varanasi stars as the female lead. After watching the trailer, Rana Daggubati praised Prashanth Varma, saying, “He is the master storyteller of the present generation. He is an amazing writer and director and I am happy that he is telling mythology stories to today’s generation. I thought this social movie, Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, was also inspired by Krishna and Kamsa.” Rana added that he attended the function to support Ashok. He also spoke about the female lead, Manasa, noting, “I am happy to see a Telugu girl as the female lead in our film.”
Actor Sundeep Kishan also expressed support for Ashok and wished him success. “I liked director Arjun’s first film and I saw the trailer for this one. You can see that everyone worked very hard for this film. I hope it will be a great success for everyone,” said Sundeep Kishan. Ashok’s father, former MP Jayadev Galla, also attended the event.
