While the first season was a massive hit, it also drew criticism for actor Venkatesh’s vulgar dialogues and the show’s excessive intimacy scenes, which were deemed inappropriate for younger audiences. Sources say these scenes have been reduced in the upcoming season.
Venkatesh returns as Naga Naidu — a character that’s in stark contrast to his real-life persona. While Naga Naidu is self-centered, chaotic, and deeply immersed in family drama, Venkatesh himself is grounded and composed.
“He’s unpredictable, yes, but his love for family runs deep — that’s something I relate to,” the actor says. “We both love our families, but that’s where the similarity ends. I’m predictable, Naga isn’t.” Venkatesh draws a clear line between himself and the character. “I like structure and stability,” he says. “Naga thrives on drama. I don’t play mind games — but Naga is full of surprises. You never really know what he’s thinking.”
That unpredictability is exactly what makes Naga Naidu so compelling. “There’s always something simmering with Naga,” Venkatesh adds. “You just can’t look away.”
