Rangareddy district to pay a major role in LS polls

Rangareddy district shares borders with seven districts. The district is mix of rural and urban areas. The district has been well-developed. It is surging ahead all sectors like information technology and real estate.
The district was nationally and internationally acclaimed. The district is unique and the district spread over 5 Lok Sabha constituencies, which is unprecedented. The sheer size of the district has triggered problems too along with growth.
Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency is regarded as the first constituency in the nation to have the highest number of voters, 37,28,417. Of them, the number of voters in LB Nagar Assembly segment alone are 6,00,552. The other assembly segments are Malkajgiri, Kukatpally, Qutubullahpur, Uppal, Contonment and Medchal.
Chevella Lok Sabha constituency is the second largest constituency in Telangana having the highest number of voters. The total number of voters here is put at 29,19,465. Besides Vikarabad, Parigi and Tanduru segments, the Assembly segments of Chevella, Maheshwaram, Rajendra Nagar and Serilingampalli have been included under the constituency.
The Ibrahimpatnam constituency of Rangareddy district is included under Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency having a total of 18,04,930 voters. Ibrahimpatnam segment alone has a total number of 3,37,134 voters.
The Kalwakurthy constituency in Rangareddy district has been listed under Nagarkarnool Lok Sabha constituency, which has a total of 17,34,773 voters, including 2,43,098 voters of Kalwakurthy segment.
Shad Nagar segment has been listed under Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat. The total number of voters in the LS constituency are 16,80,417.  Of them, 2,38,392 voters belong to the Shad Nagar segment.
The voters of Rangareddy district largely decide the fate of many Lok Sabha contestants.
