Reach heights with discipline and passion, students told

BC Welfare Minister Ch Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna has appealed to the students to reach greater heights by studying with discipline and passion. The minister felicitated 40 toppers of SSC and Intermediate exams 2023 on Wednesday. He sought the students to adopt Jyotirao Phule as their ideal for community service.

The BC Welfare Department conducted a programme to congratulate the students who excelled in the intermediate and SSC examinations at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada on Wednesday. After paying floral tributes to the statue of Phule, the minister said that BC Residential Schools and Hostels have shown excellent performance in the 10th class and Intermediate examination results this year and they want to achieve good results every year.

The minister said that the State government gives high priority to education and to provide opportunities to our students at the national level and CBSE syllabus has been introduced in 21 BC residential schools. He said that CBSE syllabus will be introduced in all schools in the coming year. He called upon the youth to take Jyotirao Phule as an example and work hard to achieve his ambition. He called on the students to give high priority to community service and reach higher heights by being disciplined and willing to study from childhood. He said that the efforts of teachers are immeasurable in achieving the best results for the students of government schools as compared to private schools. The minister felicitated 40 students, their parents and teachers who showed merit in the tenth class and intermediate examination results by covering them with shawls and giving mementos and certificates of appreciation.

BC Welfare Department Special Chief Secretary Anantha Ramulu, BC Welfare Director Arjuna Rao, Jyotirao Poole AP Residential Schools Society Secretary Krishna Mohan, BC Welfare Department officials and employees participated in the programme.
