Reddys prevented me from becoming Union Minister: Anjan Kumar Yadav

Must read

Former Congress MP Anjan Kumar Yadav said that the sycophant (Reddys) prevented him from becoming the TPCC Working President. However, former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav spoke to Sonia Gandhi and made him the TPCC Working President, Anjan said.
Anjan said that M. Uttam Kumar Reddy and T. Jagga Reddy prevented him from becoming the TPCC Working President. The same people prevented him from becoming a Union Minister, Anjan added.
He said that they did not give tickets when there were chances of winning an LS MP seat. “I would have won if the Secunderabad LS seat had been given to me. The party lost the election as it gave the ticket to Danam Nagender. Danam lost the election at a time when there were chances of winning. The caste census was conducted only because of Rahul Gandhi. Otherwise, these leaders (Reddys) would have prevented the creation of Telangana, he said.
Anjan said that they (Reddys) contested to the LS after they lost the Assembly elections. However, they did not give an LS ticket to us even though we asked them. The party gave the ticket to Danam Nagender and lost the Secunderabad LS seat. The party took a wrong decision regarding the Secunderabad LS seat. The party would have won Secunderabad if it was given to the Yadav community. The party gave the LS ticket to Jeevan Reddy, who lost the Assembly elections.

Some people in the Congress prevented giving tickets to Yadavs. Some are trying to suppress the Yadav community in the Congress. The party gave LS seats recognising my son’s services to the party. Former PCC chief VH never won direct elections,” he said.
Anjan said the Yadav community will not remain silent if leaders undermine Yadavs.
He was speaking at a meeting of the Yadav community at Adarshnagar on Monday to thank the CM for conducting the caste survey.
