Resolve ‘Spandana’ pleas fast, directs Krishna Dist Collector

Krishna District Collector P Ranjith Basha has directed officials to solve Spandana petitions within the stipulated time and take necessary action so that the cases are not reopened. A huge number of reopened cases pertaining to lands and the Revenue Department are coming to Spandana programmes, he said.

Collector Ranjith Basha participated in the Spandana programme held at the collectorate at Machilipatnam. He received petitions from people and sent them to the respective departments for speedy resolution. Speaking on the occasion, Ranjith Basha said that all departments should concentrate on the recurring issues and take appropriate action. He directed the officials concerned to examine all reopened petitions and resolve them after conducting the inquiry. With these steps, the petitioners should be satisfied, he added.

Later, the Collector released the poster of the National Leprosy Eradication Programme which will be organised from November 15 to December 5. He directed Sachivalayam staff, Ashas and ANMs to conduct a door-to-door survey to identify leprosy patients. They should be given proper treatment for the eradication of disease, he added.

The Collector unveiled the booklet of Nehru Yuva Kendra as part of the National Young Leaders Programme. He suggested that the NYK officials and staff plant saplings and conduct blood donation camps across the district.

Krishna District Revenue Officer M Venkateswarlu, MUDA Vice Chairman B Narayana Reddy, RDO I Kishore, DWAMA PD GV Suryanarayana, DM&HO Dr Geetha Bai and DCHS Dr Indira Devi were present.
