‘Revanth ignoring senior leaders’

AICC General Secretary Digvijaya Singh came to Hyderabad on Wednesday to sort out differences between the Original and Migrant leaders of Congress.

Digvijaya took complaints from leaders on Thursday at the Gandhi Bhavan amidst the brawl between the Osmania University student leaders and former MLA Eravthri Anil. However, it is learnt that some leaders lodged a complaint with Digvijaya that TPCC president Revanth Reddy is the reason for the differences between the leaders. The leaders requested Digvijya to change the TPCC president as he has been behaving unilaterally, neglecting senior leaders and encouraging his close associates. It is also learnt that some leaders lodged a complaint with Digvijay that Revanth has been giving leaks against seniors stating that they are going to leave the party intentionally.

It is learnt that some leaders lodged a complaint against Telangana Congress Affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore alleging that he was the reason for the present situation in the party. They also lodged a complaint alleging that Tagore listens only to Revanth Reddy. It is learnt that some people lodged a complaint against Revanth alleging that he did not cooperate in appointing the Committee on the Dharani Portal.

Some others complained that resignations by leaders who joined the Congress after quitting TDP means that they are not giving importance AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge. However, it is learnt that some leaders lodged a complaint against senior leaders alleging that they were harming the interests of the party by forming groups.

It is learnt that Digvijaya expressed unhappiness about seniors. Diggy asked seniors, who were supposed to protect the party, whether it is proper to behave in this manner. He said the seniors should have brought the issue to the notice of the high command instead of creating trouble.

It is learnt that Diggy asked CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to hold meetings in his residence and criticised him. Diggy asked the leaders about strategies to defeat the BRS.
However, the leaders lodged complaints mainly against Revanth Reddy, Manickam Tagore and seniors.

Senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao while speaking to the media after meeting Diggy, said that Revanth has to unite all leaders and the party has to give positions to Original leaders.
