BRS MLAs Padi Kaushik Reddy and Dr Kalvakuntla Sanjay lashed out at Jagityal Congress MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar and the Congress leadership and accused them of corruption and false propaganda.
Addressing a press conference at the Telangana Bhavan, Kaushik said that Dr Sanjay, whom he called a ‘broker and thief,’ had attacked him during the Karimnagar district review meeting.
Refuting claims made by some media outlets that he had attacked Dr Sanjay Kumar, Kaushik clarified, “I questioned the lack of implementation of Congress’s promises, including farm loan waivers. Instead of answering, Congress representatives resorted to personal attacks.”
He accused Dr Sanjay Kumar of being politically insignificant without KCR’s support, stating, “If not for KCR, Dr Sanjay Kumar wouldn’t have won even as a ward member, let alone as an MLA.”
Kaushik launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Revanth Reddy, accusing him of filing 28 cases against him for questioning the party’s unfulfilled promises. He labelled Revanth as a “blackmailer, cheater and broker,” adding, “Revanth is a criminal, caught red-handed in the cash-for-vote scandal. He isn’t a Chief Minister, he’s a ‘Chumma Minister.’”
The MLA also highlighted attacks on the BRS office in Bhongir, accusing Congress workers of disrespecting KCR’s photos. “When KCR’s photo was thrown on the ground, it was like a bullet piercing the hearts of Telangana people,” he said.
Addressing the recent spate of allegations and attacks, Kaushik declared, “If attacks are carried out against us, we will retaliate. We won’t remain silent while Congress tries to undermine the legacy of KCR and Telangana.”
The MLAs concluded by affirming their commitment to exposing Congress’s failures and defending the aspirations of Telangana’s people under KCR’s leadership.
