Revanth, KCR call for swift relief measures

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed deep anguish over the tragic Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. With initial reports suggesting over 200 passengers and crew members on board at the time of the accident, the Chief Minister offered prayers for everyone’s safety and urged the Centre to ensure that efficient and immediate rescue and relief operations are carried out.

Revanth Reddy called on the Union government to deploy all necessary resources to assist the affected families and ensure swift medical attention for the injured.

He also conveyed his heartfelt concern to those awaiting news about their loved ones.

BRS President and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao also issued a condolence statement, expressing profound shock over the crash. He said it was heartbreaking that among the victims were not only passengers but also residents and medical students on the ground, as the aircraft reportedly crashed into a residential area.

KCR appealed to both the Central and Gujarat governments to announce adequate ex gratia for the bereaved families and provide quality medical treatment to those injured in the crash. Offering his deep sympathies to the grieving families, he prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to their loved ones during this tragedy.
