Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is a silent spectator as violence against minorities is increasing in Telangana, BRS MLC Kavitha said.
She said that the RSS-linked CM is neglecting minorities and that promises made by the Nehru-Gandhi family to Telangana’s minorities have been forgotten by the Congress.
She demanded that the Congress government should immediately implement the party’s Minority Declaration.
During her Nizamabad visit on Sunday Kavitha said that the Leader of the Opposition (LOP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, speaks extensively about democracy, while Congress workers wreaked havoc at the BRS office. Is violence the new strategy of the Congress, she asked. Kavitha said the Congress’ hypocrisy has been exposed and that while Rahul Gandhi preaches about the Constitution his party workers engage in vandalism.
“Rahul Gandhi carries a copy of the Constitution in his hand and says that it must be protected. But today BRS’s offices are being attacked by Cong activists and nobody says anything. This is not protecting the Constitution. This is not protecting the rights of people. We demand an answer from Rahul Gandhi.” she said.
Kavitha said the Gandhi family has failed to rein in Revanth Reddy and his governance.
