Reverse BJP’s false campaign: Raghavulu

The Communist Party of India–Marxist (CPM) politburo member BV Raghavulu has called upon his party leaders and cadres to reverse the false campaign by BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi claiming that the party will win 400 seats in the upcoming elections. The BJP’s trend is downward in many States in the country, he stated.
The CPM State committee meeting held at the party office in Vijayawada on Thursday was chaired by party secretariat member Y Venkateswara Rao. BV Raghavulu gave a lecture on the current political situation in the country.
Raghavulu said that the INDIA alliance parties have understood seat-sharing and sped up their election campaigning. The parties are gearing up election campaigning. The battle for the Lok Sabha election has begun and the ECI will announce the results on June 4, he added.
Further, he alleged that the BJP-led NDA government targeted INDIA leaders and launched attacks on them using the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and the Income Tax (I-T) Department. It is a pity that the Election Commission did not intervene, he commented.
He alleged that these agencies have arrested two State Chief Ministers illegally to damage the campaign of the INDIA bloc parties. Also, he criticised that BJP inducted corrupt political party leaders into their alliance, which indicated that BJP’s publicity was fake.
Later, he said that BJP, TDP and JSP did injustice to Andhra Pradesh. People should teach a lesson to these parties. He criticised YSRCP and did not make any allegations against BJP. CPM State secretary V Srinivasa Rao, central committee member MA Gafoor and others were present.
