Railways are laying bypass track through Dharmasagar to speed up goods transport

The Railways has taken measures to provide modern passenger amenities in railway stations under the Amrut Bharat scheme. The new Dharmasagar railway station is one of them.
The officials have proposed to establish a railway station at Dharmasagar in Warangal.  To speed up transport of goods on Secunderabad-Nagpur section of the South- Central Railway, another by-pass route has been proposed. Accordingly, the railway track would be laid via Dharmasagar.
The proposed new by-pass route is meant for transportation of goods as transportation of goods via Kazipet is time consuming, delaying the goods reaching the destination. It would cause immense loss to the railways. Therefore, new bypass route is proposed. The new railway line would commence from the underpass near the Nashkar railway station.
The new railway line would proceed via Peddapendyala, Karunapuram, Narsingaraopalli, Yelukurti, Dharmasagar, Unikicherla, Munipalli, Chintagattu Canal and joins the Hasanparti Road railway station. A new railway station is going to be set up at Dharmasagar.
The new bypass route would speed up exports and imports from Telangana to Maharashtra and to Northern states and vice-versa.
