‘Rottela Panduga’ begins on grand note

District Collector M Harinarayanan has directed the officials to take all needed steps to provide all facilities to the devotees, who are participating in the famous religious event ‘Bara Shaheed Dargah Rottela Panduga’. The ‘Rottela Panduga’ began here on Saturday.

The Collector, along with Joint Collector Kurmanath and Municipal Commissioner Vikash Marmat, here on Saturday went to the Bara Shaheed Dargah and observed the facilities made for the devotees.

He directed the officials to take steps to ensure that the devotees should not wait in queue lines for a long time. He instructed them to make arrangements to provide drinking water facilities.

“Take steps to ensure that there will not be stampedes in the queue line. The devotees should move freely in the queues. The devotees should offer prayers without hassle. Special focus should lay to provide help to the differently abled persons,” the Collector told the officials. He said that the municipal staff should appear at the event in special dress so that the devotees could recognize them easily.

Steps should be taken to carry out sanitation. Hygienic conditions should be maintained at the Dargah area and on the roads leading to the Dargah, the Collector instructed the officials. Entire area should be chlorinated, he told them. DHMO Dr.Penchalaiah and district minorities’ welfare official Nirmala Devi were among those accompanying the Collector. Later the Collector inspected the medical camp and saw the medicines being made available to the needed people.
