District Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh has said that Rs 11.05 crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of 45,719 farmers under the third phase YSR zero interest scheme and crop investment subsidy in Eluru district. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy credited the money into the accounts of farmers on Monday.
A programme was organised on the occasion for which Collector Prasanna Venkatesh, District Agriculture Advisory Board Chairman Vejju Venkateswara Rao, District Agriculture Officer Y Ramakrishna, farmer Parvataneni Krishna Rao of Pedakadimi, Kothapalli Kumari of Ramavaram, Denduluru Mandal attended.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh said that Rs.10.37 crore was credited into the accounts of 44,820 farmers under the YSR zero-interest subsidy. Similarly, for Rabi 2020-21 and Kharif 2021, an investment subsidy of Rs. 68.43 lakh was credited into the accounts of 899 farmers in the district.
