Rs 30 lakh worth of works get going in Vijayawada

MP Keshineni Srinivas (Nani), and District Collector S Dilli Rao along with the officials participated in the foundation laying programme on Wednesday for the construction of a meeting hall and record room on the Collectorate premises with an estimated cost of Rs 30 lakh.
On this occasion, MP Keshineni Nani said that new districts have been formed by the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to bring the administration closer to the people. Several development works are being undertaken in the Collectorate which is crucial for the effective implementation of district development and public welfare programmes. He said that recently the MP Lads Facilitation Center has been established with Rs 8 lakh. He said that he is happy to launch the construction work of a new meeting hall and record room. He said that District Collector Dilli Rao is leading the district in the path of development by acting in good coordination and he wants the district to achieve more development under his leadership.
The MP said that the efforts of the collector are behind the arrangement of tankers to provide fresh drinking water to around 270 villages with drinking water issues.
District Collector Dilli Rao said that MP Nani is carrying out many development works with the funds of MP Lads and thanked the MP. Dilli Rao said that the works of the new meeting hall and record room in the collectorate will be completed swiftly.
DRO V Srinivasa Rao, Panchayat Raj SE A Venkateswara Rao, CPO Y Srilatha, DPRO SV Mohana Rao, Collectorate AO Ch Nagalakshmi, Panchayat Raj EE Sivaramakrishna, Collectorate staff and others were present.
