‘Saaree is based on real-life incidents’

After a long time the controversial director Ram Gopal Varma is coming up with a film titled ‘Saaree’. But he is not the director, but he gave the chance to direct this film to Giri Krishnakamal. Prominent businessman Ravi Shankar Varma is the director and it is released on February 28, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. The film is a psychological thriller based on real-life events, starring Sathya Yadu and Aaradhya Devi as the lead actors. The trailer of this film was also released.
“In social media, many people connect with strangers whose faces and background or foreground they don’t know, and without knowing anything about their past or present, they end up trusting them, and face risks, horrifying incidents. We’ve heard and seen these stories many times! This movie ‘Saaree’ is based on such real-life incidents,” said Ram Gopal Varma while narrating the background voice of the film.
The censor formalities are also completed about this film. Generally when an RGV film came to the censor certificate, it is not easy to pass as there were many controversies and it happened many times. But this film completed the formalities silently, so RGV has come up with a film that sticks to only story without any political or any other agenda.
