‘Saiva Kshetra’ bus service evoking overwhelming response from pilgrims

APSRTC NTR District Public Transport Department Officer (PTDO) M Yesu Danam has said that the Saiva Kshetram buses, which are operating from Vijayawada and other places, have been evoking a good response from pilgrims. The RTC has operated 113 Saiva Kshetram services so far, he said in a press release on Monday.

He said that the APSRTC had been operating bus services for the convenience of pilgrims and receiving very good response. As many as 113 bus services have been operated from the NTR district to various Saiva Kshetras in the State. Fifty-six bus services were operated to Pancharamas, four to Arunachalam, six to Trilinga Darshini, 19 buses to SriSailam, six to Annavaram and 22 to the other Saiva Kshetras, he added.

He further said that on November 19, the RTC would arrange special bus services to Tiruvannamalai to have darshan of Arunachaleswaruni Swamy. These buses will start the trip at PNBS at 9 pm on November 19 and reach Srikalahasti, Kanipakam and Sripuram Golden temple on November 20, and Arunachalam on November 21. After performing the Giri Pradakshina, the bus will return to Vijayawada on November 22, he said.

In addition to Saiva Kshetras, bus services will be operated to Sabarimala, Manginapudi Beach, Suryalanka Beach, Parnasala, Muchintala and other temples, too. Also, buses would be there to Karthika Vana Bhojanalu and people can book tickets, he added.
