‘Salakatla Brahmotsavams’ schedule released

Tirumala, renowned for its constant celebrations with over 450 festivals held throughout the year, is going to celebrate the ‘Navahnika Salakatla Brahmotsavams’ in about one-and-a-half months from now. This grand nine-day religious festival is set to take place from October 4 to 12, with the ‘Ankurarpana’ ceremony scheduled for October 3.
The daily schedule includes ‘vahana sevas’ in the morning from 8 am to 10 am and in the evening from 7 pm to 9 pm, except on October 4.

Schedule for ‘Vahana Sevas’
October 4, Friday: 5:45pm to 6:00pm – Dwajarohanam; 9:00pm to 11:00pm – Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
October 5, Saturday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am – Chinna Sesha; 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Snapanam; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Hamsa.
October 6, Sunday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am – Simha; 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Snapanam; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Muthyapu Pandiri.
October 7, Monday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am – Kalpavriksha; 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Snapanam; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Sarva Bhoopala.
October 8, Tuesday: 8:00am to 10:00am – Mohini Avataram; 6:30pm to 11:30pm – Garuda Vahanam.
October 9, Wednesday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am – Hanumanta; 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Golden Chariot; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Gaja Vahanam.
October 10, Thursday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am – Suryaprabha; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Chandraprabha.
October 11, Friday: 7:00 am onwards – Rathotsavam; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Aswa Vahanam.
October 12, Saturday: 6:00 am to 9:00 am – Chakra Snanam; 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm – Dwajarohanam.
Additionally, ‘Snapana Tirumanjanam’ will be conducted for the ‘utsava’ deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, and Bhudevi at the Ranganayakula Mandapam on the second, third, and fourth days of the annual Brahmotsavams.
