Samantha who shot to nation wide fame with her Pushpa Part 1: The Rise and her OTT debut The Family Man. Samantha has been constantly in the news ever since her seperation from Naga Chaitanya. Samantha became choosy in s lecting the movies. She revealed that she is suffering from Myositis health condition and took a break from films.
Meanwhile, during the shoot of Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda which was released in September, Samantha signed Citadel Web series which is directed by Family Man fame Raj and DK. Citadel is the Indian version of Priyanka Chopra’s American TV series Citadel. Varun Dhawan is playing as other lead pairing with Samantha.
Recently it was revealed that Samantha, who will be starring in Citadel India, has agreed to film intimate scenes with Varun Dhawan for the show, much like the American version. Samantha and Varun have given their consent for the intimate scenes and have mentioned that they will film the scene as long as it’s vital to the series and has a role to play in the story.
Now, the streaming date for Citadel has been locked. The series will start streaming in Amazon Prime from April 2024. The espionage thriller, Citadel, is created by Josh Applebaum with the Russo Brothers. Raj & DK are helming the Indian television series, which features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan.
