Samoon assumes charge as SAAP VC & MD

Manazir Jeelani Samoon, a 2012 batch IAS officer from the Nagaland cadre who was recently allotted the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has taken over as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director (VC & MD) of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP). He officially assumed his new role on Monday at the SAAP headquarters, located within the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium.
Previously, Samoon was serving as the Managing Director of APMARKFED and was assigned the Full Additional Charge (FAC) of SAAP VC & MD following a recent reshuffle of IAS officers.
During the transition, SAAP officials extended a warm welcome to Samoon. Subsequently, the SAAP authorities introduced him to the officers and staff.
