TSRTC Chairman MLA Bajireddy Govardhan said that all party leaders, including BJP State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, are liars. The appointment of Sanjay as the state president of the BJP is an unfortunate development, he said.
Speaking to the media at the BRS LP office on Wednesday, he said that the government is providing all possible support to farmers who lost their crops to untimely rains.
“Sanjay has no love lost for farmers. KCR personally inspected crops in many districts and assured help to farmers,” Govardhan said.
He said that the CM spoke to the farmers of Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal and Karimnagar and announced financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per acre to farmers who lost their crops across the state.
Govardhan lashed out at Sanjay for not having the guts to admit that KCR is personally inspecting crops in fields.
He also said that officials are conducting a survey at the field level about the untimely rains. He said that KCR will stand by every farmer who lost his crop to the untimely rains.
He said the government has already released Rs 154 crore and the process will continue. Govardhan said that Sanjay is trying to mislead the public and farmers with his lies.
