Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy reacted sharply against BJP leader Sanjay and said that it would be better if he realises that the people of Telangana are KCR’s family.
“The Telangana Decade celebrations are being held to display the progress made by Telangana. In your house also there are beneficiaries of KCR government’s schemes. Your relatives will also participate in the decennial celebrations. Ask them once and then speak,” Prashanth said.
Vemula warned Sanjay to control himself when he talks sarcastically about KCR and his family.
He reminded that even Union ministers have acknowledged the fact with statistics that under the leadership of KCR, the leader of the TS movement who won the state, Telangana has become the numero uno state in the country.
He said that even the Prime Minister did not do as much as KTR to attract foreign investments. He reminded that MLC Kavitha spread the culture of Telangana throughout the world with her Jagruti organisation.
He said that KCR’s children are in politics with public approval. They gave up their high-paying jobs in the US for the movement. KCR fought on behalf of the people of Telangana, faced many cases and arrests and played a vital role in the Telangana movement.
He said that due to the efforts of KTR, investments worth Rs 3,000 billion, 18,000 companies and 16 lakh jobs have been created in the state.
Vemula said that Chief Minister KCR’s vision and KTR’s initiatives have been praised on public platforms and the world’s leading companies have invested in Telangana.
“Prime Minister Modi tarnished India’s reputation abroad in countries like Sri Lanka and Australia by canvassing business for his friend Adani. What has Modi done for the country? He used his PM post to help his friend Adani. Olympic sportsmen are protesting in New Delhi but the Centre has ignored them. If women are coming on to the road and accusing a BJP MP of sexual harassment it is a shame to hold sports meets here,” Vemula said.
“After a few months you and your Modi will be gone, not us,” he said. The minister said that in Karnataka the BJP did not win even a single seat where Sanjay campaigned.
