Saptagiri returns as lead in Pellikani Prasad

Saptagiri, who began his career as a comedian before transitioning into lead roles, is making a comeback as a hero with Pellikani Prasad. After a brief return to comedic roles, he is now back in the spotlight with this film. The makers have unveiled the first look, generating buzz among audiences.
Directed by Abhilash Reddy Gopidi and produced by KY Babu, the film is getting a major boost as it will be released by Dil Raju’s prestigious banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC).
The title Pellikani Prasad is a well-known phrase among Telugu audiences, popularised by the film Malleswari, starring Venkatesh and Katrina Kaif. The first look poster showcases Saptagiri in various quirky expressions, emphasising the film’s humorous and lighthearted tone. Shekar Chandra is composing the music, while Priyanka Sharma plays the female lead. Muralidhar Goud, Laxman and Annapurnamma are also part of the supporting cast. The film is set for release on March 21.
