After the success of Vakeel Saab, director Venu Sriram took his time before unveiling Thammudu, which stars Nithiin. The movie is being produced by Dil Raju under his banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations.
According to the latest buzz, Sapthami Gowda, the heroine of blockbuster Kantara, will be sharing the screen with Nithiin in this film. Moreover, a strong buzz suggests that yesteryear actress Laya Gorty has landed a significant role in the movie. An official announcement regarding her involvement is expected shortly. Interestingly, there are rumours circulating that she might also have a prominent part in an upcoming film of Ram Charan, directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
Meanwhile, the regular shooting for Thammudu is set to kick off this Friday.
