Sardar 2 shoot to begin from July 15

Following the massive success of Sardar in Tamil and Telugu, the makers have officially announced the sequel, Sardar 2. The auspicious pooja ceremony for the film was recently held, and regular shooting is set to commence on July 15th, 2024, with grand sets in Chennai. Directed by PS Mithran, who helmed the prequel, and produced by Prince Pictures, Sardar 2 promises to build on the success of its predecessor.
As revealed towards the end of Sardar, the new mission will unfold in Cambodia. The sequel will be produced on a larger scale with a substantial budget, featuring top-notch technical expertise across various departments.
The music for Sardar 2 will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with George C Williams handling the cinematography. Dilip Subbarayan will serve as the stunt director, Rajeevan Nambiar as the production designer and Vijay Velukutty as the editor. AP Paal Pandi will act as the production executive, A Venkatesh as the co-producer, and S. Lakshman Kumar as the producer.
