Sarvai Papanna Goud stood as symbol of self-respect

Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar and former Shadnagar MLA Chaulapalli Pratap Reddy paid tributes to Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud on the occasion of anniversary celebrations in Shadnagar. The events celebrated Goud’s historical significance and contributions to Telangana, with tributes paid at his statue and community activities conducted in his memory.
Former MLA Chaulapalli Pratap Reddy led the tributes by emphasising Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud’s enduring legacy. During the Jayanti celebrations, Pratap Reddy praised Goud as a symbol of Telangana bravery, recounting his rise to prominence. He highlighted Goud’s extraordinary courage and his fight against local nobility, who opposed his efforts for justice.
MLA Shankar also paid tributes at the statue of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud. In his speech, Shankar praised Goud’s role in uniting the poor against royal tyranny and ruling Golconda with principles of political and social equality. Shankar affirmed that the Congress government, inspired by Goud’s values, remained committed to supporting the Gowda community and advancing their interests.
The celebrations included a community service initiative where the Gowda Sangam distributed fruits to patients at the Town Government Community Hospital, reflecting their dedication to societal welfare. The event saw participation from several notable figures, including former MPPs Shiva Shankar Goud, Vannada Prakash Goud, Rangaiah Goud, Jay Govardhan Goud, and other community leaders.
