TPCC chief Revanth Reddy’s ‘vote-for-note’ case came up for hearing in the Supreme Court on Thursday and the SC adjourned the hearing to August 28.
The hearing regarding the petitions filed by Revanth Reddy and BRS MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah in the ‘vote-for-note’ case was adjourned to August 28.

The lawyers of Revanth had written a letter to the Supreme Court requesting to postpone the hearing due to unavoidable reasons.

However, the lawyers of the Telangana Government objected to this.

The TS Government’s lawyers told the SC that the hearing should be held as they had no prior information about the letter being sent.

The government lawyers said that in view of the seriousness of the case, the hearing should not be postponed.

But the Bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna, Justice Bela and M. Trivedi did not agree.

The Bench asked Revanth’s lawyers not to seek adjournment again and said that the hearing will be held on August 28.
