SC CATEGORISATION Pawan, Lokesh welcome apex court verdict

Deputy CM K Pawan Kalyan has said that the struggles of the Madiga community have borne fruit with the Supreme Court delivering its judgment in favour of Scheduled Caste categorisation. He congratulated Manda Krishna Madiga who fought for categorisation. He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded positively to the creation of reservations for Madigas during the NDA-2 regime.
In February this year, the central government informed the Supreme Court that social justice is possible through categorization and that the goal of providing equal opportunities to all will be achieved. The positive development of SC classification in the NDA-2 regime is a welcome development. Chandrababu Naidu took a categorical decision to provide equal opportunities to all, unlike vote bank politics, when he was the Chief Minister of the United AP.”
 Minister for Education, IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh welcomed the Supreme Court’s verdict on SC classification. He recalled that it was Chandrababu who implemented social justice 30 years ago. He said that due to the implementation of categorisation, many people will get job opportunities.
Lokesh mentioned the economic and political development of all social groups as the agenda of Telugu Desam.
Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on SC categorization. Anitha made it clear that TD’s agenda is the economic and political development of all social classes, and that they are committed to the classification promise given in the election.
Union Minister Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma and BJP AP President Daggubati Purandeswari said that they welcome the historic judgment given by the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court in favour of SC categorisation. They said that justice has been done for the decades of struggle of the oppressed communities. Describing Manda Krishna Madiga as an indefatigable fighter, they congratulated him. They said that the Modi government is committed to categorization and that Modi has shown in practice that he will do justice to the decades of struggle of the oppressed communities.
