The remarkable performance of students from SC Gurukuls in the SSC advanced supplementary examinations has been lauded by Social Welfare Minister Merugu Nagarjuna. The results reveal an impressive pass percentage of 75.17%, contributing to an overall pass rate of 94.97% for SC Gurukul students in Class 10.

This year, a total of 13,734 students appeared for the class 10 exams (April) from social welfare Gurukuls across the state. Among them, 11,033 students successfully passed the exams last April. With the recent announcement of the SSCASE results, the pass percentage has now surged to 94.97%. Highlighting the previous results released in April, Minister Nagarjuna pointed out that only 80.33% of Gurukula students had passed, with several of the failed students citing difficulties in specific subjects. In response to this challenge, the students who did not succeed were provided with dedicated tutors and training camps to bolster their knowledge and ensure success in their respective subjects. The Gurukul authorities were committed to this training program, enforcing strict supervision. The outcome of these efforts manifested in the outstanding results achieved in the SSC advanced supplementary examinations, disclosed on Friday.

Out of the total 2,674 students from Gurukuls statewide who took the SSC advanced supplementary examinations, an impressive 2,010 students emerged victorious, attaining an average pass percentage of 75.17%. Consequently, 13,043 students out of the 13,734 who sat for the 10th class exams in Gurukuls have successfully passed, increasing the pass percentage from 80.33% to 94.97%. Minister Nagarjuna further delineated the district-wise performance, with Prakasam district securing the top position with a remarkable 98.26% pass percentage. Srikakulam, Kadapa, and Anantapur districts secured the second position with a commendable 97% pass percentage, while East Godavari district attained the third spot with an impressive 95% pass percentage. Minister Nagarjuna conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Secretary of Gurukul Educational Institutions R Pavana Murthy, along with the rest of the teaching staff, for their exceptional contribution in achieving these exemplary results.
