Bhpalapally Congress in-charge Gandra Satyanarayana Rao has accused BRS MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy of switching sides to the BRS after getting elected on a Congress ticket and duped the Congress.
Welcoming the SCCL eighth mine workers into the Congress at the Congress office here on Sunday, Satyanarayana Rao predicted that the wind is blowing in favour of the Congress. He was confident of Congress winning majority of seats and forming the government.
He appealed to Congress rank and file to fight like soldiers and expose the failures of the BRS. The SCCL workers took oath to ensure victory of Satyanarayana Rao from Bhupalapally seat.
District Congress Committee president Prakash Reddy, Town Congress Committee president Islawat Devan and other leaders of the party were present on the occasion.
