Seaplane’ to be launched on Nov 9The prestigious event will be taking place at Punnami Ghat

The Andhra Pradesh Government is organising another remarkable event, the ‘Seaplane’, which will be launched at the Punnami Ghat near Babburi Grounds in Vijayawada on November 9. Municipal Commissioner HM Dhyanachandra said the arrangements for the inaugural ceremony are being made grandly.
On Tuesday morning, a meeting was held at Baburri Grounds with the CEO of the Maritime Board, Praveen Aditya, Vijayawada Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) K Chaitanya, and the event organisers to review the preparations for the inauguration.
The officials discussed several aspects of the prestigious event, including seating arrangements, entry plans, drinking water supply, temporary toilets, and providing the public with the opportunity to watch the live event through LCDs at major locations in Vijayawada.
During the meeting, Dhyanchandra emphasised that all facilities, including drinking water and temporary toilets, should be set up without any shortcomings.
The meeting was attended by VMC Additional Commissioner of Projects Dr D Chandrashekhar, Chief Engineer R Srinath Reddy, Chief City Planner GVGSV Prasad, In-charge Chief Medical Health Officer Dr Suresh Babu, Zonal Commissioner Ramya Keerthana, Executive Engineer Venkateswara Reddy, Joint Director Amruth, and In-charge Dr Latha, among others.
