Reflecting the secular spirit enshrined in the Indian Constitution, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao took an important decision for spreading Telangana’s “Ganga Jamuna Tezjeeb” across the world.
KCR decided to inaugurate the Nalla Pochamma Temple, Mosque and Church which were being constructed on the Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat premises the same day. After consulting religious heads, KCR finalized a date which is acceptable to all.
On August 25, the CM will re-open the temple by installing a Nalla Pochamma idol in the presence of priests by following Hindu traditions. On the same day, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the mosque and church in accordance with the beliefs of Islam and Christianity.
CM KCR held a high-level review meeting with Ministers, Chief Secretary, CMO officials, R&B officials, and with the Executive members of the Telangana Secretariat Employees Association, today (Tuesday). On this occasion, CM KCR took a historic decision to open the worship places of the three religions on the same day in consultation with Hindu, Muslim and Christian heads.
Thus, these three religious places will be made available for Secretariat employees to perform rituals during their festivities
