Chief Minister and TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu directed party MPs to prioritise securing projects, funds from the Centre, and new schemes for the State during the forthcoming Parliament session.
At the Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party (TDPP) meeting, which included State Cabinet Ministers, Chandrababu Naidu assigned specific responsibilities to various MPs for engaging with Union Ministers on different issues. The TDPP has developed a strategy to coordinate closely with both State Cabinet Ministers and Union Ministers to secure Central funds for State development.
Instructing Ministers to maintain regular contact with Union counterparts, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of upholding law and order. He criticised former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for what he termed “fake politics” and accused him of politicizing personal attacks. Chandrababu Naidu warned that no one, regardless of their political guise, would escape justice if involved in criminal activities. He urged police officials to take strict action against those engaging in crime, expressing concern over the ongoing criminal culture and attributing it to systemic failures.
Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his commitment to maintaining law and order and vowed that measures would be implemented to ensure accountability for criminal acts. He highlighted that maintaining public trust and demonstrating both development and welfare were paramount. Despite financial challenges, the government has resolved to implement five key promises.
The Chief Minister informed the MPs that their performance in securing Central funds and project approvals would be reviewed every three months. He instructed them to ensure that the commitments made under the State Bifurcation Act were met.
Looking ahead to the 2029 elections, Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need for proactive measures and positive actions that benefit the people. He stressed the importance of close coordination between government officials and party members, recommending that every Minister and MP visit the party office at least once a week.
