Security arrangements for 5-day test cricket match reviewed

Rachakonda Commissioner Sudhir Babu held a review meeting with Rachakonda DCPs, Additional DCPs and ACPs regarding the security arrangements for the five-day test cricket match to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, between January 25 and 29.
The CP directed the officials to take all necessary security precautions for the conduct of the test cricket match. He said that organising cricket matches in Rachakonda Commissionerate is a great opportunity and the officials have been instructed to make adequate security arrangements and ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the spectators. It is advised to ensure that there is no confusion in the distribution of tickets and coordinate with the representatives of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).
The officials were directed to instruct the organisers to take due care in issuing passes to media representatives. Necessary parking arrangements are suggested to avoid any inconvenience to the audience. It is suggested to install CCTVs in the vicinity of the stadium.
He said that the distribution of tickets will be done in full transparency.
DCP Malkajgiri Padmaja, DCP Karunakar, Traffic DCP Manohar, Admin DCP Indira and Additional DCP Admin Srinivas Reddy participated in the meeting.
