Effective and foolproof initiatives will be taken up with the latest technology to strengthen the security set up in Tirumala soon, said the State Principal Secretary(Home) Harish Kumar Gupta on Wednesday.
Speaking to media persons at Vaikuntha 2 Complex, the top brass police official said the review of security measures was done for two days on how to roll out Artificial Intelligence steps at the CCTV control room with latest software besides anti-drone technology and body scanners.
DIG Ammi Reddy said seven committees had been constituted with SP or ASP level officials as leads for a field study and report within 15 days. A review meeting will be held again and execute the decisions after the approval from the Government.
Earlier, the high level team inspected the Srivari temple, New Parakamani Bhavan, VQC 1&2, Command Control Room and other locations in Tirumala.
TTD JEO Veerabrahmam, OSD(ISW) Shashidhar Reddy, CVSO Narasimha Kishore, Intelligence DP Sumit, Greyhounds SP Bindu Madhav, Commandant of 14th Battalion Jagadeesh, Tirupati SP Parameswar Reddy, top cops from State Intelligence Bureau, Intelligence Security Wing, Octopus, Forest, Fire services were also present.
Among TTD senior officers, CE Nageswara Rao, SE2 Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Health Officer Dr Sridevi, VGOs Bali Reddy, Manohar and Giridhar Rao, DFO Srinivasulu and others were also present.
