Seethakka vows to ensure development of Adviasis

“We must protect our self-respect and pave paths for golden future generations. This government is your government; let’s all work together for the development of Adivasis,” said Minister Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka at a review meeting in Utnur in the district on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by District Collectors Rajarshi Shah and Venkatesh Dhotre from Adilabad and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts, Inspector General of Police Chandra Shekhar Reddy, Superintendents of Police Gouse Alam and DV Srinivasa Rao, and project officer Khushboo Gupta from the Integrated Tribal Development Agency, along with Additional Collector Tiwari and Utnur Sub-Collector Yuvraj Marmadi, among others.
During her address, the Minister emphasised the government’s commitment to Adivasi development through various programmes. She highlighted the Rai Centre as foundational for the system, stating that decisions made at the village level would be implemented through these centres. The opinions from Rai Centres will be prioritised in bringing development and welfare issues to the government’s attention.
She noted that significant decisions have historically been made in gatherings involving elders to solve problems in Adivasi areas and to ensure a better system for future generations.

The Minister assured that the government would take note of valuable suggestions regarding welfare of Adivasi and tribal development. She urged everyone to work in coordination to address the long-standing issues faced by the community.
