A woman attempted to commit suicide a second time on Thursday alleging harassment by BRS MLA Durgam Chinnaiah near the Peddamma Temple.
The woman, identified as Sejal, and known as Sailaja, wrote a suicide letter and reportedly consumed sleeping pills.
She was unconscious near the temple and was spotted by the traffic police. The public later shifted her to a private hospital and doctors declared that she is out of danger.
In her letter, Sejal said, “The Goddess I trust I will serve justice to you.
I approached the CBI and protested in front of the New Delhi BRS office but nothing changed. No cases were booked against the MLA.
I have lost faith in KCR & KTR government.
I also submitted evidence to the CBI but nobody is investigating the case. How many women’s lives will be snuffed out by this MLA? His relatives are attacking me and they might kill me also.
I am dead emotionally and physically. There are false allegations against me that I am threatening MLA after getting paid.
I curse those who are speaking ill about my family. So, I trust you take care of my family and punish the culprits.”
