A Central team will visit the Eluru district in June for the selections for the Prime Minister Awards for Excellence Public Administrations 2023.
Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh said that as part of the selection process for the Prime Minister Awards for Excellence Public Administrations 2023, a Central team would visit the district and direct the officials to provide the required information to the team.
The Collector reviewed the measures to be taken on the visit of the Central team which would tour the district as part of selection for Pradhan Mantri Awards 2023 for Excellence in Public Administration.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the Central team will visit the field level and gather information about the implementation of various welfare schemes, being implemented by the Central government, from the officials concerned and individuals and also from the beneficiaries.
The officials concerned should prepare comprehensive details, success stories and photos regarding the implementation of various Central sponsored schemes in the district. The prime objective of the Pradhan Mantri Awards is to achieve excellence in delivery of government schemes, the Collector stated.
As part of this, the Central team would examine the efficient implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Har Ghar Jal Yojana, Mission Indradhanush, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, PM Swanidhi, Pradhan Mantri Matruvandanayojana, PM Vishwakarmayojana, PM Mudra Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Poshan Yojana and benefits received by the beneficiaries.
The officials concerned should be ready to provide the comprehensive information required by the Central team, he ordered them. The Collector made some suggestions to the officials in this regard.
He asked the officials to explain the benefits which the beneficiaries of the Central welfare schemes received. He directed the officials of various departments to accompany the Central team during the visit. Housing PD K Ravi Kumar, RWSE NVV Satyanarayana, DMHO Dr.Sharmistha, DEO Abraham and ICDS PD Padmavati were among those who attended the meeting.
