Advisor to Government of Telangana and Former Minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir visited Nehru Zoological Park in the city, along with Shazia Parveen, Forest Officer, and family members on Saturday.
Sunil S Hiremath, Director and Curator of Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, gave a warm welcome and briefed them about the zoo management, the role of the zoo in wildlife conservation, breeding programs, and the animal adoption scheme.
Mohammed Ali Shabbir took a tour of the zoo, visiting the safari park complex, reptile house, nocturnal animal house, and big cat enclosures.
After visiting all the animal enclosures, he expressed happiness and satisfaction with the zoo management.
Shabbir said, the zoo has a very good team of dedicated officers and staff working for wildlife conservation and education. He also said, all the animals are very healthy and active, the enclosures are very impressive, and their night houses are well-maintained and hygienic.
He thanked all the officers and staff for their efforts to improve the zoo and for providing an opportunity to see all the animals in one place.
