Sharmila has to change her slogan to Indiramma Rajyam

If you think one thing another will happen. That is called politics. Exactly this has happened  in case ofr YS Sharmila. She entered Telangana politics in a big hope by launching a political party. But she became APCC President which was never expected by her. Sharmila wanted to be active in Telangana politics, away from AP politics. Before Telangana assembly elections Sharmila thought of merging her YSR Telangana party in the Congress and to play a big role in the Telangana politics. When the politicians commented that she belongs to Andhra Pradesh and the people of Telangana will not accept her leadership Sharmila replied that she was born in Telangana, studied in Telangana and married a Telangana person.
When the Congress high command thought of giving some important role to Sharmila in Telangana during the Assembly elections, some Telangana Congress leaders, including present Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy objected to this.
If the Congress gives a role in Telangana to Sharmila who belongs to Andhra it will damage the interests of the party, they felt.
With this, Sharmila lost her hopes of playing a role in Telangana politics. After the Telangana Assembly elections were over, the Congress high command accepted the proposal of Sharmila merging her party in their party.
Within days after merger the Congress high command appointed Sharmila as the Congress committee president of Andhra Pradesh, which is going to elections in the next three months. Sharmila has taken charge aa APCC President on Sunday.
Now Sharmila has to defend that she belongs to Andhra Pradesh. When Sharmila launched YSR Telangana party her slogan was to bring “Rajanna Rajyam” of late Chief Minister YSR. Now in Andhra Pradesh, Sharmila’s brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the Chief Minister. The slogan of YSR Congress headed by Jagan is also “Rajanna Rajyam.” Since last four years, CM Jagan in implementing several welfare schemes in the footsteps of his father YSR. The slogan of the Congress party whether in Telangana or in Andhra is bringing “Indiramma Rajyam.”  So, Sharmila has to change her slogan  as now she is APCC President.
During in the coming Assembly elections, she has to promise the people of Andhra Pradesh to bring Indiramma Rajyam in her election campaign. While CM Jagan’s slogan is Rajanna Rajyam, Sharmila’s slogan will be Indiramma Rajyam.
In the past, Sharmila also campaigned about Rajanna Rajyam when she worked in YSR Congress and also when she launched YSR Telangana.
Now Sharmila has to shift her slogan to Indiramma Rajyam from Rajanna Rajyam as she shifted her political base from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh.
