Shivaji welcomes appointment of Manickam Tagore as in-charge

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-president Kolanukonda Shivaji has welcomed the appointment of B Manickam Tagore as in-charge of AP Congress affairs. The AICC on Saturday appointed B Manickam Tagore as in-charge to the AP Congress affairs.
Kolanukonda Shivaji said that Manickam Tagore is a two-time MP and an OBC leader. He is also a permanent invitee to the CWC and a loyalist to the Gandhi family, Shivaji said.
The APCC Vice-president said that he welcomes his appointment as the Congress affairs in-charge. Shivaji hoped that under the leadership of Manickam Tagore, the Congress party would gain the past glory.
“I am confident that Manickam Tagore will play a vital role to bolster the Congress party in AP. I am also confident that the Congress party will come to power in AP also like in Telangana state under the leadership of Manickam Tagore,” Kolanukonda Shivaji, who is also a popular BC leader in AP, said.
