Shops selling fake products in Begum Bazaar raided

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone, along with copyright field agents have raided shops near Begum Bazar for violating copyright and selling fake products of brands to customers.
They were duplicate general consumer goods sales shops in the limits of Begum Bazaar, Erragadda and three persons were apprehended. They are identified as RM General Store proprietor Ramesh Kumar Parmar, Sri Saroj Agency proprietor Hitesh Pawar and Sri Traders in Erragadda by Ramesh Kumar.
They were indulging in illegal procuring, selling of duplicate  Good Night liquid, Gold Flash Combi Pack , Lizol liquid surface cleaner, Fevikwik one drop instant by violating Copyright Act and selling through their known sources thereby misleading the innocent customers and making them believe that they are original products of the branded companies. The police seized duplicate general material worth Rs 2 lakh.
The accused hail from Rajasthan and a few years back migrated to Hyderabad, running general trading at Begum Bazaar for their livelihood.
