This year, the festival shines a special spotlight on Hyderabad’s thriving art scene, featuring 25 galleries and over 3,000 artworks from some of the finest names in Indian art.
Hyderabad’s rich artistic heritage takes center stage with Artbreez Art Gallery, Gallery Celeste and Icon Art Gallery displaying works by celebrated artists such as Laxma Goud, T Vaikuntam, Ramesh Gorjala, Laxman Aelay and Jagadish Chinthala. The festival will also present the diverse styles of Avani Rao Gandhra’s nature-inspired pieces, Kantha Reddy’s striking sculptures, and B. Narahari’s seamless blend of tradition and modernism.
While Hyderabad’s artists hold a strong presence, the festival also brings leading galleries from Mumbai and Delhi, showcasing works by Jogen Chowdhury, Manu Parekh, Paresh Maity and Seema Kohli. This mix of regional and national talent ensures a diverse artistic experience, uniting contemporary expressions with India’s deep artistic legacy.
Beyond its extensive collection of paintings, sculptures and mixed-media works, the festival offers live painting sessions, musical performances and an exclusive screening of The Eternal Canvas, a documentary exploring 12,000 years of Indian art history. Visitors can engage with artists, witness creativity in action, and gain deeper insights into India’s artistic evolution.
Now in its 15th year, the India Art Festival continues to be a vital platform for both established masters and emerging talents. Festival Director Rajendra emphasises its role in bridging the gap between artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts, fostering a vibrant dialogue around art and its evolving narratives.
With free entry and parking, the festival is open to all from 11 AM to 8 PM daily. Whether you are an art connoisseur, a collector, or simply someone who appreciates creativity, the India Art Festival 2025 promises an inspiring and immersive experience.
