Siddha ambassadors ride to Hyd for wellness rally

In a bid to promote Siddha medicine, a group of riders identifying themselves as Siddha ambassadors on Thursday and conducted wellness rally under the aegis of the Ministry of AYUSH.
The rally is part of an awareness campaign, during which the riders will cycle from Delhi to Kanyakumari in 20 days. The event, held at the Vysya Hostel, drew a large crowd eager to learn more about the benefits of Siddha medicines.
Chief guest Dr Y Sreenivasulu, Director of IMPCOPS, praised the efforts of the Siddha ambassadors, who braved challenging weather conditions to spread awareness about this traditional healthcare system.
Dr Sreenivasulu stressed the effectiveness of Siddha medicines in treating various lifestyle disorders and highlighted the crucial role played by IMPCOPS in their manufacture and distribution, including popular remedies like Kabasura kudineer and Nilavembu kudineer. “The Siddha ambassadors have shown remarkable dedication in spreading awareness about this valuable healthcare system,” he added.
The event also witnessed the distribution of Siddha medicine kits to 500 beneficiaries by Dr A Rajendra Kumar, RO (S), S-3, CCRS headquarters, and Dr A Kanagarajan, AD(S), SRRI, Thiruvananthapuram. This initiative aimed to provide direct access to these natural remedies and empower individuals to take charge of their well-being.
