SIIMA not paying to performers

The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is giving away awards to the talented people from South Indian Film Industry every year. In most of the years, thes awards functions were held in Dubai, and even in September last, the twelfth edition of the SIIMA was completed. It’s a two-day event and at this awards function many actresses gave live performances.
Instituted by Vishnu Induri, the SIIMA is a big awards ceremony, where the top South Indian actors can be seen. The organisers roped in many top actresses to perform live at this event, but there is some news doing rounds about it.
Last year at this event some of the top actresses performed and the organisers still have not paid the full remuneration to those actresses, says a source. The organisers first gave an advance and told them that they will give the final amount once the event is completed. But after almost six months of the event, still the organisers didn’t pay the remaining amount to the actresses who performed. Some of the top actresses have now decided not to perform at this event, until they are paid the full amount, added the source. Some of the managers are under pressure to get the remaining amount. Otherwise, the actresses may feel that their managers are cheating them.
Some of the managers also wanted to take this issue to the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, as the event organisers are now not responding to the managers’ calls.
