Sitar from Mr Bachchan shines with its lyrical brilliance!

Director Harish Shankar, known for his exceptional musical taste, has consistently delivered hit soundtracks before his films even hit theatres. His upcoming film Mr. Bachchan, starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, continues this trend with a diverse music album. Following a promotional tease, the makers have now released the lyrical video for the first single, Sitar.
Once again collaborating with Harish Shankar, composer Mickey J Meyer delivers a captivating track that begins with evocative sitar sounds, blending classical influences with enchanting beats. This marks Meyer and Shankar’s third collaboration following Subramanyam For Sale and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The song features mesmerising lyrics by Sahithi, rekindling their successful partnership after the chartbusters Kevvu Keka and Asmaika Yoga.
The track, featuring the voices of Saketh Komanduri and Sameera Bharadwaj, shines with its lyrical brilliance. Charulatha Mani’s classic raga adds a touch of tradition, while Harish Shankar’s direction ensures the dance sequences, with their compelling back pocket and hip movements, are truly captivating. In the video, Ravi Teja appears youthful and stylish, while Bhagyashri Borse dazzles as a glamorous diva. Their chemistry is both alluring and sparkling, with Ravi Teja’s graceful dance moves complementing Bhagyashri’s captivating performance. Sekhar Master’s choreography adds elegance to the visuals.
Cinematographer Ayanka Bose has captured the vibrant and spectacular beauty of the Kashmir valley, making Sitar an immediate hit that promises even greater allure on the big screen.
The film also features Jagapathi Babu and Sachin Khedekar in significant roles. Produced grandly by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, with Vivek Kuchibhotla as co-producer, Mr. Bachchan is tagged with the tagline “Naam Tho Suna Hoga.” Brahma Kadali serves as the production designer and Ujwal Kulkarni is the editor.
