Sithara Entertainments acquires Telugu rights for Suriya’s Retro

Of late, Telugu audiences have seen a surge in dubbed releases from Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada industries. Some dubbed films are even securing major theatrical releases, sometimes clashing with multiple new releases on the same day.
In response to this growing demand, Sithara Entertainments has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights for Retro, the much-anticipated Suriya-starrer. The film, which has already garnered attention with its powerful teaser, is set to release on May 1.
Not long ago, Sithara Entertainments has  distributed films like Leo (Tamil), Devara (Telugu) and Brahmayugam (Malayalam), further expanding its reach across industries. Now, with Retro, the production house is bringing another high-profile Tamil film to Telugu audiences.
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by Suriya and Jyotika under their production banner.
With Sithara Entertainments backing the Telugu release, Retro is expected to make a strong impact in both Tamil and Telugu markets. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Suriya in this much-hyped project.
