Situation changes for worse in Telangana: Harish Rao

Must read

The change Congress promises to bring turns out to be a nightmare

Former minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader T Harish Rao on Sunday expressed the view that the situation in Telangana has changed for the worse. The state is witnessing power cuts and burning out of farm motors.
During the campaign in Sircilla, Harish Rao recalled that the BRS government had ensured uninterrupted power supply to the farmer sector and also other sectors. When K Chandrashekar Rao, known as KCR, was in power, there were no power cuts in the State. “Now power cuts have become the order of the day. Motors fitted to pumpsets are getting burnt out bringing tears to the eyes of the farmers. Farmers are forced to spend a lot of money for the repairs of the motors” he pointed out.
Apart from it, the Congress government for the reason best known to itself has stopped the supply of KTR kits to nursing women. There is acute drinking water scarcity and cropped withered away due to lack of water for irrigation, he said.
Harish Rao took Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to task for using abusive language against BRS leaders.
The former minister said the government failed to investment support under Rythu Bandhu in time. It would be useful if the money is provided to farmers at the outset, he said.

Exhorting the people to defeat the Congress and BJP in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Harish Rao stressed the need to ensure the victory of BRS nominees to make the voice of the people of Telangana heard in Parliament.
