Sivaji dares YSRCP leaders to ask for votes on 3 capitals

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) vice-president Kolanukonda Sivaji has challenged the YSRCP leaders to ask for votes on the issue of the establishment of three capitals.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is opposing all the decisions taken by former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. “Jagan Mohan Reddy has grown a grudge against the capital city Amaravati and brought three capital issues. When grave injustice was meted out to the farmers who parted their lands for the establishment of the capital city, the YSRCP leaders did not respond,” he lamented and asked whether the YSRCP leaders have humanity.
The Congress senior leader vehemently objected to mentioning the three capital issues in the YSRCP manifesto. Though the high court admonished the government, it did not learn a lesson nor mend its ways, he alleged.
“The Chief Minister is trying to shift the Capital city to Visakhapatnam in improper ways. Earlier, Jagan Mohan Reddy backed the establishment of the capital city in Amaravati region when he was in Opposition, but after being voted to power, he brought the 3 capitals concept, stating Amaravati will remain the legislative capital,” Shivaji lashed out.
The government severely harassed the farmers, who had given thousands of acres of their land for the construction of the capital city. “The governments have already spent thousands of crores of rupees for the development capital city Amaravati. If the development in the capital city had continued, the state would have benefited a lot,” he opined.
“The five crore people of AP wish that Amaravati should be the capital of AP. I question the YSRCP candidates, who are contesting in the election in combined Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts, with what face they ask votes from the voters,” the APCC Vice-president maintained.
“APCC President YS Sharmila is going to people with a clear message and explaining to them why they should vote for the INDIA bloc. Sharmila is replying suitably to the absurd comments of YSRCP leaders. Sharmila is receiving overwhelming response from the people wherever she goes in the state,” Kolanukonda Shivaji stated.
